Create a Christmas boot
The Christmas Boot appears to be the most traditional Christmas crafts. Tiny, large, or downright huge, all the boots Christmas are achievable with a little imagination ... also necessary on the side of the decoration and finish of the boot: feathers, sequins, buttons, paper, cardboard or anything else!
Lightweight and customizable, all uses are possible for your particular bundle of Christmas (wall decoration, make-up, decorating for fir ...)
Whatever the use, you need mostly of felt, fabric glue and some small accessories according to your ideas and desires!
Materials needed to make your boot
To create a bundle of Christmas, you need:
- The red felt, felt white
- The red thread, a needle,
- Glue fabric or felt,
- A fairly rigid cardboard sheet,
- A pencil, pen thick.
Depending on the desired bundle of Christmas, you may have felt more need of any other color (green, brown, yellow ...) ; Ribbons (gold, silver ...) paperboard, felt pen gold or silver, drill, or any other material handicrafts according to your imagination (buttons, clip, clothespin ...!)
The implementation stages of your bundle of Christmas
Step 1: Draw a pattern for the boot
Before embarking on the construction of the bundle of Christmas, we must create a pattern that will serve as a model for your boots are all identical, and thus keep a unit for example in the case of mark-up.
realize the pattern, take a cardboard sheet and draw in pencil a bunch of Christmas. Why in pencil
paper? Because you need several tries to get to the desired shape of the boot. Then switch back to the good thick pen
form, then cut.
As this is not always obvious, we offer bundles of Christmas patterns already made. You can print
patterns already made: a small bunch of Christmas, or a large bunch of Christmas (see templates below).
Step 2: Assemble and sew boot christmas
Take the pattern you just cut and place it on the red felt. Draw a pencil outline
the boot on the felt: the outline will be very slightly.
Then cut the shape of the bundle in the felt. It takes two forms in felt boots to make a bunch of
Christmas.
Then install the 2 forms of the boot on each other in the same direction of course. Sewing thread with both boots with small dots on the outside: the wire will be almost not if you stretch enough. Do not sew the top of liner.
Step 3: Personalize your Christmas sock
Cut the white felt a "snow belt" slightly wider than the shoe, to be stuck at the top of the boot. Glue the felt using tissue glue.
Finally, to complete the boot, you can paste what you want using the tissue adhesive on the liner Christmas: letters cut out of cardstock and colored with golden pen to make marks-up, a node Ribbon gift package; small gift packages, etc. ...
